We had an amazing super hot labour day weekend ~Saturday. Coffee in bed, 2.5 hours tennis doubles, I entered an art assemblage piece in the fall fair (details tomorrow), then spent the aft drinking lime beer on a 2 person air mattress, on the ocean.
Tonight we made a huge crockpot of tomatoe sauce for freezing! We had 2 flats of tomatoes from Costco & I picked herbs from my greenhouse. Ingredients: spicy Italian sausage, ground beef, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, green onions, greenhouse basil and parsley, green peppers & garlic. The cabin smells amazing as it simmers. Below are the herbs cut up. Now to apply aloe to my sunburns!
